Postponed DDMoRe course: Model-Informed Drug Development Oncology Advanced

DDMoRe consortium continues a series of comprehensive face-to-face courses introducing the principles of model-informed drug development, covering a range of therapeutic areas, via the newly-developed DDMoRe interoperability framework platform. 

The Bioinformatics, Mathematical Modeling and Synthetic Biology  (BMS) lab at Università degli Studi di Pavia, Italy and the Institute of Pharmacy, Freie Universitaet Berlin, Germany are happy to invite you to the following face-to-face course:

“Model-informed Drug Development in Oncology (advanced)”, this course has been postponed to early 2016.

Dates: 7-11 September 2015, postponed to 2016

Venue: Departement of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering, Università degli Studi di Pavia, Via Ferrata 5, Pavia, Italy

Intended for:  PhD students and Postdoctoral fellows doing research in the quantitative life sciences field, but also open (if places will be available) to other scientists affiliated to the institutions part of the DDMoRe consortium.

Topics: Model-informed drug development in the area of oncology with a 2-day introduction to the DDMoRe framework (new modelling & simulation language, model repository, interoperability platform)

Program: Lectures, hands-on sessions, student group work, workshops, and student presentations

  • Willing to actively participate in the course and give constructive feedback to further improve the DDMoRe developments
  • Able to bring along a laptop that fulfils the minimum IT environment requirements specified

Fee: Free of charge (transport, accommodation and food not included) 

Maximum number of participants: 20  (If needed selection based on the registration information, with priority to PhD students/post-docs and participants from different institutions).
