Model Informed Drug Development Central Nervous System Diseases

DDMoRe consortium continues a series of comprehensive face-to-face courses introducing the principles of model-informed drug development, covering a range of therapeutic areas, via the newly-developed DDMoRe interoperability framework platform. 

The Departments of Pharmacology of the Leiden Academic Centre for Drug Research (LACDR) at University of Leiden, Leiden (The Netherlands) and Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology, School of Pharmacy, University of Navarra (UNAV), Pamplona (Spain) are happy to invite you to the following face-to-face course:

“Model-informed Drug Development in Central Nervous System Diseases”

Dates: 27-31 July 2015

Venue: Gorlaeus Laboratories, Einsteinweg 55, 2333 CC, LACDR, Leiden University, The Netherlands

Intended for:  People who are interested and doing research in the quantitative life sciences field

Topics: Model-informed drug development in the area of central nervous system with an introduction to the DDMoRe framework (new modelling & simulation language, model repository, interoperability platform)

Program: Lectures, hands-on sessions, student group work, workshops, and student presentations 

Course directors: Elizabeth de Lange (University of Leiden, Leiden, The Netherlands), Iñaki F. Trocóniz (University of Navarra, Spain), Charlotte Kloft, Zinnia Parra (both Freie Universitaet Berlin, Germany)


  • Willing to actively participate in the course and give constructive feedback to further improve the DDMoRe developments
  • Able to bring along a laptop that fulfils the minimum IT environment requirements specified

Fee: Free of charge (transport, accommodation and food not included) 

Maximum number of participants: 18  (If needed selection based on the registration information).
