The Modelling Description Language (MDL) has two components:

  1. Model Coding Language (MCL): The MCL is used to define models together with their parameters,data and re-usable tasks.
  2. Task Execution Language (TEL):  The TEL is used to describe how the input from the MCL will be used to perform an analysis task e.g. parameter estimation.
