GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is a global pharmaceutical company which develops and produces medicines for disease areas such as asthma, virus control, infections, mental health, diabetes and digestive conditions. GSK scientists are committed to building collaborations with other research groups, companies and institutions to share expertise and experience to develop transformative scientific concepts.
The Clinical Pharmacology Modelling and Simulation (CPMS) department in GSK's Research and Development organisation aims to integrate pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and modelling and simulation into the selection, clinical development and global registration of drugs for the betterment of patients. The participants involved in the project have expertise in a diverse range of topics including clinical drug development, pharmacometrics and information technology.
